Regent Hospital scam: Ex-DG of DGHS leaves court without surrendering
Director general in the past of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Abul Kalam Azad left the Dhaka Court today with no surrender or getting bail in the case in connection with the Regent Hospital scam, although this was the main reason for his trip to court. Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Public Prosecutor Mir Ahmed Ali Salam confirmed the report according to The Daily Star. "We learnt that former DGHS boss Azad came to the court of Dhaka's Senior Special Judge KM Emrul Kayesh but he did not file any bail petition with the court," the judge said.
